This program allows you to batch-convert MKV files into Windows Media Video files. The graphical user interface is very simple, and there aren't many options you can play with. I wouldn't normally have a problem with that, but since this is an MKV converter, there are quite a few settings that I would like to change. For example, I would like to choose the audio track and subtitle file, resolution, etc.
In my testing, I added an MKV sample and the app immediately told me that the conversion process failed. So I figured maybe there was a codec used that the app didn't recognize, so I added a bunch of files and started again. This time, the app started playing some video for one of the files that I added. But I got no sound. I tried to save the file to my hard drive so that I could try with another player, but there was a trial limitation that prevented me from doing that.
From what I saw in Windows Media Player, the quality looked good. So, if sound does work, maybe this is a nice tool. I like that it can process multiple files at once. However, it is missing a few features and it does not let you change any conversion settings.
